Джордж Буш-младший открыл в себе художника

Экс-президент США Джордж Буш-младший нарисовал Владимира Путина, Ангелу Меркель, Далай-ламу XIV и других мировых лидеров, с которыми он встречался за время своего президентства. Все портреты являются частью персональной выставки Буша-младшего «Искусство быть лидером: Личная дипломатия президента» в городе Колледж-Стейшен, штат Техас, где расположена Президентская библиотека и музей его имени. Живопись дополняется фотографиями, сувенирами и историей взаимоотношений с тем или иным политическим деятелем.

Впервые мир узнал о художественном потенциале 43-го президента США в 2009 году, когда хакеры взломали электронный ящик его сестры и нашли там снимки некоторых картин.
